I met a Japanese serow

The Door to Love and Harmony

My daily routine:

I usually wake up before the sun rises, or to be exact, I wake up before the sun rises.

First, drink a glass of water and prepare water for the altar, etc.

I change the water in the sakaki and wash it lightly under a running shower while wishing everyone a happy day.

Clean the toilet and say thank you to the "Toilet God" (Ushnishavijaya).

At this time, I sometimes hesitate when I want to use the toilet.

Wash your face, brush your teeth, comb your hair, sweep the entrance, water the crops at Thunder Farm and say hello again :)

At the Shinto altar, we greet and give thanks to Amenominakanushi.

Chant "Achimarikam" 31 times

Afterwards, I head to a nearby staircase for some light exercise, climbing up and down about 40 steps 10 times!

I ended up climbing a total of 400 steps, but I don't always manage to do it 10 times.

Bask in the morning sun from the top of the stairs, offer prayers to the sun and say hello to Amaterasu.

I've come to really enjoy watching the morning glow just before the sun rises.

I had known about the sunrise, but I had never really thought about "morning glow."

When I think of youth, I think of sunsets, and although I loved them, they also made me feel a little lonely!

But there is no sadness in the morning glow! It is refreshing, filled with emotions such as hope and excitement.

After watching the sunrise, I head to the small mountain cliff behind the house (my sanctuary).

I had previously been told by a woman with exceptional psychic abilities that this place was a sacred place home to the Mountain God.

Not many people come to this place

I love it because it's so quiet and you can hear only the birds singing and the leaves rustling in the wind and feel like you're in nature.

Now I get to "ground myself" in my favorite tree.

I feel the vibrations of the heavens and the earth and recharge my energy.

Are you mentally recharged?

Actually, this happened just recently, but I saw a Japanese serow!

It's not just that I saw him, but that he was right in front of me!

I've lived here for about 15 years and this is the first time I've seen it.

There is a lot of nature around where I live, but it is a residential area, so there are cars on the streets and it can be a little dangerous.

I named the chamois Peter for some reason, because I thought it would be awful if it got hit by a car.

Come here, Peter, it's dangerous so come here, Peter!

I tried to guide him back into the mountains.

The Japanese serow that I saw seemed a size larger than a large dog!

Then our eyes met, and he went totally glaring at me!

He doesn't seem to be glaring at me or being intimidating or wary, he just looks at me as if he can see right through me.

It was like watching a scene from "Princess Mononoke."

Perhaps it's the Japanese serow's natural homing instinct, but they followed me as I guided them back safely into the mountain.

In fact, I saw it again a few days later!

The second time we met, we spent a lot more time together than the last time.

We walked together in the mountains, less than two meters away from the Japanese serow.

Along the way, we saw chamois munching on young grass many times.

We walked together through the mountains for about a kilometer.

I've reached my limit when walking in sandals and can't go any further!

I watched the chamois until it was out of sight.

As expected of someone with legs like a chamois, Peter swiftly climbed up the cliff over a pathless road.

The Japanese serow is said to be a messenger of the gods.

I felt happy and grateful to have had such a valuable and sacred experience.

Since that day, I've made sure to remember to bring my smartphone with me (next time I'll take a photo and post it).

When I get home I start preparing dinner.

I usually cook about three cups of rice a day. The ideal meal would be one soup and three side dishes.

I sometimes eat fried chicken! That's just me, too (but I've moved on from being a mayonnaise lover)

If you are on a carb restriction diet, eating too much rice is not good! (I mix it with barley.)

Although it is said that rice has high quality carbohydrates, it is actually good for you.

For example, "The average person in the Edo period ate five servings of rice a day!"

However, there are no obese people like there are today! And everyone is muscular.

Of course, this may be due to differences in calorie consumption.

This is because people in the past were hard workers and did a lot of physical labor.

However, in the "Edo period rice culture," rice was cooked in a kamado in the morning,I only eat hot rice in the morningIt was

For lunch and dinner, it is common to have rice balls and cold rice. (Hot miso soup and tea are a must.)

"For cold rice,Resistant StarchThis increases the amount of vitamin C in the body, which is expected to have various effects such as improving the intestinal environment, stabilizing blood sugar levels, helping with weight loss, and improving constipation."

People in the past were really wise. This makes sense.

After breakfast, it's time for meditation.

It has been several years since I tried various meditation methods, but I still don't feel like I have awakened.

For example, I think that the symptoms of "Kundalini awakening" are easy to recognize, but I haven't seen a dramatic awakening yet.

The meditation method that suits me is not about writing a method, but rather about connecting with the universe and the earth.

It feels like my main goal is to "connect with myself (my soul)."

This is what is known as "introspection."

For example, people with psychic abilities can see and feel spirits that are invisible to ordinary people.

It might be something similar to that.

"The soul and the mind are invisible, but I'm sure everyone believes they exist."

To be able to talk to your soul like that

I find it helpful to relax and meditate through breathing exercises.

"It's not something I really want to write, but I'll come out a little bit about myself!"

For several years I suffered from depression and was undergoing treatment.

While I was visiting a hospital for treatment of depression, I was recommended to have a brain scan (MRI), and when I did

A tumor was found in your brain! It's called a brain tumor.

When I found out about it, my depression got even worse!

Insomnia is getting worse too!

In that state, I was completely helpless, or rather, unable to do anything, and I lived like a recluse.

I can't talk to anyone and I realized I can't speak well!

Maybe my vocal cords have weakened too.

I don't want to go into too much detail yet, so I'll leave it at that.

Well anyway, I've been feeling better lately!

"It's not all about what you see.

This is because I have become able to feel the support of invisible beings.”

I am convinced that meditation and watching the sunrise are also sources of vitality in daily life.

And for me, the presence of my partner cat (Raijin) is also a big help.

There is a small window in front of the desk where I use my computer, and in the morning, there is a chorus of Japanese bush warblers and other birds whose names I don't know.

In spring, you can see cherry blossoms from the window, and at this time of year (May) wisteria flowers are in full bloom.

Sexy shot of Raijin. His butt is visible haha

I was going to write about my daily routine.

In the end, all I write about is what I'm grateful for.

After this, the day and night, and before going to bed are probably part of the daily routine.

I sometimes wonder if it would be okay to just do it in the morning.

Maybe that's just me.

I am also very grateful to everyone who has read this far.

I hope you have a good day in life.
